    Abstract:
Since the end of 2019, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)infection has swept the world, bringing great harm to human society and significantly increasing the health burden. Due to stronger infectivity, faster transmission, and higher reinfection rate of the Omicron variant, it has now replaced the Delta variant as the main epidemic strain for both imported and local outbreaks in China. Chinese Diagnosis and treatment protocol for SARS-CoV-2 infection (10th trial version) emphasizes "strengthening the protection of key populations, " which includes the increasing number of immunocompromised population. These people have a high incidence of severe diseases and a high fatality rate after infected with SARS-CoV-2, and belong to the high-risk populations of severe or critical diseases. Moreover, due to underlying diseases, these people take immunosuppressants and other related drugs chronically. The interactions between anti-SARS-CoV-2 infection treatment drugs and original drugs are complicated, thus bring significant challenges to the treatment after the SARS-CoV-2 infection. Currently, there is a lack of guidelines or consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection among immunocompromised population. Therefore, the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Health and National Center for Respiratory Medicine organized experts from multiple disciplines (respiratory and critical care medicine, organ transplantation, rheumatology and immunology, hematology, infection, critical care medicine, etc.) in China. After multiple rounds of discussions, 13 items of recommendations are made as the reference for peers based on evidence-based medical evidence, so as to provide a theoretical and practical reference for the diagnosis and treatment strategies of this population.

    Abstract:
Medical ultrasound technology is widely used for diagnosis and therapy in clinical practice. Ultrasound probes, which are directly contact with patients, pose a potential risk of pathogen transmission. This expert consensus was developed by a multidisciplinary team based on international guidelines, standards in China, and the results of a national survey, aiming to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infection through standardizing reprocessing of medical ultrasound probes, and formulating consensus recommendations with the Delphi method. The consensus clarifies the reprocessing principles for three types of ultrasound probes of different infection risks: external-use ultrasound probes, interventional percutaneous ultrasound probes, and internal-use ultrasound probes, puts forward systematic suggestions on the reprocessing standards and disinfection levels of ultrasound probe isolation covers and coupling agents, the reprocessing procedures and methods of ultrasound probes, as well as architectural layout and management of reprocessing, so as to provide a scientific prevention and control framework for ensuring ultrasound diagnosis and therapy safety.

    Abstract:
Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) is a rapidly progressive and fatal neurodegenerative disorder caused by prions, with certain infectivity and iatrogenic transmission risks. With the rapid progress and application of new dia-gnostic biomarkers and detection methods, as well as the construction and improvement of surveillance and reporting systems, the detection of CJD in patients domestically and internationally has shown an increasing trend year by year. Due to its long incubation period and heterogeneity of early symptoms, early identification and diagnosis of the disease is difficult, increasing the risk of transmission within medical institutions. Currently, there is a lack of consensus on the infection prevention and control of CJD. In order to timely identify and diagnose CJD as well as effectively block its transmission in medical institutions, this consensus summarizes 15 clinical concerns and formulates 24 specific recommendations based on the latest domestic and international research findings and clinical evidence, as well as combines with clinical practice, aiming to standardize healthcare-associated infection prevention and control measures for CJD and reduce its transmission risk in medical institutions.
